Description

These easy one-bowl Salted Caramel Brownies are rich, fudgy, and topped with creamy dulce de leche and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Salted butter (1 stick)
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 Large egg yolk
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 13.4 ounce Can dulce de leche
  • Pinch Flaky salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place butter and chocolate chips in a medium size, microwaveable mixing bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir, and continue microwaving and stirring in 30 second intervals until chocolate is melted.
  3. Beat in sugar, then vanilla and eggs, until well combined.
  4. Stir in flour until just combined.
  5. Pour into a well greased or parchment lined 8×8″ pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely.
  6. Once brownies have cooled, place the dulce de leche in a microwave safe bowl and microwave about 15-20 seconds, just enough to make the dulce de leche spreadable. Spread over brownies, sprinkle with salt, cut and serve immediately!
