  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Olive oil, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  2. Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  3. Pour in the vegetable or chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the pasta, dried basil, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes, if using. Stir well to combine.
