Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large round loaf of crusty bread
  • 1 pound mixed seafood (shrimp, crab, scallops), cooked and chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut off the top of the bread loaf and hollow out the inside, leaving a sturdy shell. Reserve the removed bread for dipping.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked seafood, cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
  5. Spoon the cheesy seafood mixture into the hollowed-out bread bowl.
  6. Wrap the bread bowl tightly in aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is heated through and bubbly.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and melted.
  9. Slice the top and serve the irresistible cheesy seafood bread warm with the reserved bread for dipping.
