Savory French Dip Tortilla Rollups are a delightful twist on the classic sandwich, combining tender beef and gooey cheese in a soft tortilla.
Ingredients
- Large flour tortillas
- Thinly sliced roast beef
- Swiss cheese
- Beef broth
- Horseradish sauce
- Sautéed onions
- Sautéed bell peppers
- Butter or oil (for toasting)
Instructions
- Sauté thinly sliced onions and bell peppers in a skillet over medium heat until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
- Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a thin layer of horseradish sauce, followed by roast beef, sautéed onions, bell peppers, and Swiss cheese.
- Tightly roll the tortilla from one end, tucking in the sides to keep the filling inside. Repeat for remaining tortillas.
- Add butter or oil to the skillet over medium heat. Place rollups seam-side down and toast until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Heat beef broth in a small saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Optionally, add Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor.
- Slice each toasted rollup into bite-sized pieces. Arrange on a platter with a small bowl of warm dipping broth in the center.
