Description

Savory French Dip Tortilla Rollups are a delightful twist on the classic sandwich, combining tender beef and gooey cheese in a soft tortilla.


Ingredients

  • Large flour tortillas
  • Thinly sliced roast beef
  • Swiss cheese
  • Beef broth
  • Horseradish sauce
  • Sautéed onions
  • Sautéed bell peppers
  • Butter or oil (for toasting)

Instructions

  1. Sauté thinly sliced onions and bell peppers in a skillet over medium heat until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a thin layer of horseradish sauce, followed by roast beef, sautéed onions, bell peppers, and Swiss cheese.
  3. Tightly roll the tortilla from one end, tucking in the sides to keep the filling inside. Repeat for remaining tortillas.
  4. Add butter or oil to the skillet over medium heat. Place rollups seam-side down and toast until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Heat beef broth in a small saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Optionally, add Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor.
  6. Slice each toasted rollup into bite-sized pieces. Arrange on a platter with a small bowl of warm dipping broth in the center.
