- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits
- 1 lb pork sausage (or turkey sausage)
- 2 cups whole milk (or dairy-free alternative)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled (5-7 minutes).
- Stir in milk, garlic powder, and paprika; simmer until slightly thickened (3-4 minutes).
- Cut biscuits into quarters and layer half in the baking dish. Pour half of the sausage gravy on top.
- Add remaining biscuit pieces and pour the rest of the gravy over them.
- Whisk eggs with salt and pepper; pour over casserole. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
