Description

A delicious blend of marinated flank steak served over rice with a creamy, spicy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Add steak, coat well, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  3. Grill marinated steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Let rest, then slice.
  4. Mix mayonnaise, sriracha, lime juice, and honey in a bowl for the sauce.
  5. Assemble bowls with rice, steak, green onions, and drizzle with sauce. Top with sesame seeds.
