- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil pesto
- 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Spread one side of each slice of sourdough bread with basil pesto.
- Layer sharp cheddar cheese on the pesto side of one slice.
- Top with the second slice of bread, pesto side down.
- Melt butter in the skillet and add the sandwich.
- Grill for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted, pressing gently with a spatula.
