- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped jalapenos until evenly distributed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
