Description

Irresistible Bourbon Maple Bacon Rolls are a sweet, smoky, and indulgent breakfast treat. Flaky pastry wraps crispy bacon, all coated in a rich bourbon maple glaze. This recipe is easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the bacon until it’s almost crisp but still slightly pliable. Drain the bacon on paper towels.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place one strip of cooked bacon on the wide end of each dough triangle.
  5. Roll up the dough around the bacon, starting from the wide end.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine the bourbon, maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  7. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. This is your bourbon maple glaze.
  8. Place the bacon-wrapped rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Brush the tops of the rolls generously with the bourbon maple glaze.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  11. Brush with more glaze halfway through baking for an extra sticky, irresistible bourbon maple bacon coating.
  12. Let cool slightly before serving your irresistible bourbon maple bacon.

Notes

  • For extra crispy bacon, cook it slightly longer before wrapping.
