- 1 pound bacon
- 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the bacon until it’s almost crisp but still slightly pliable. Drain the bacon on paper towels.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place one strip of cooked bacon on the wide end of each dough triangle.
- Roll up the dough around the bacon, starting from the wide end.
- In a small saucepan, combine the bourbon, maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. This is your bourbon maple glaze.
- Place the bacon-wrapped rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
