- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
- ¼ cup virgin coconut oil (melted)
- 1 cup shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, cocoa powder, and shredded coconut until well combined.
- Add melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract; stir until sticky.
- Fold in dark chocolate chips evenly.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours to set before slicing.
