Description

Ground Turkey Zucchini Skillet is a delicious and healthy one-pan meal that combines lean ground turkey with tender zucchini and colorful bell peppers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 medium zucchinis, diced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (any color)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: chop onion, garlic, zucchini, and bell peppers into small pieces.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell peppers until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Push veggies to one side and add ground turkey to the other side. Cook until browned, around 6-8 minutes.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and diced zucchini; cook until zucchini is tender but still crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning; mix well.
  6. If using cheese, sprinkle it on top and cover briefly until melted—about 1-2 minutes.
