- 1 cup chicken broth or water

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 cucumber, grated
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pita bread for serving
- Sliced tomatoes and lettuce for garnish
Instructions
- Place the boneless chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, combine chicken broth, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the marinade over the chicken in the crockpot. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, depending on your schedule.
- After the cooking time, check if the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender. It should shred easily with a fork.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the tzatziki. In a bowl, combine the grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, dill, minced garlic, and some salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove the cooked chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return shredded chicken to the crockpot, mixing it with the juices.
- Before serving, warm the pita bread in the oven or on a skillet for a few minutes.
- Place a generous amount of shredded chicken into each pita.
- Top with tzatziki, sliced tomatoes, and lettuce.
