- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 (15-ounce) cans cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 (4-ounce) cans diced green chiles, undrained
- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, oregano, and cayenne pepper (if using). Cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, cannellini beans, and diced green chiles. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in shredded chicken and cook for 5 minutes to heat through.
- Reduce heat to low. Add softened cream cheese, stirring until it’s melted and the chili is creamy.
- Stir in fresh cilantro. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
