- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 4 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
- Pinch of salt
- 2–3 tbsp rainbow candy-coated chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter, then mix in granulated and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk cocoa, flour, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate, then pour batter into the pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set.
- For ganache, heat heavy cream, then stir in chopped chocolate and pinch of salt until smooth. Pour over cooled brownies.
- Top with rainbow chocolate chips. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
