Deliciously fudgy brownies decorated to resemble Christmas gifts, perfect for holiday celebrations.
Ingredients

- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
- Red, green, and white candy melts (for decoration)
- Mini candy bows or holiday sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Whisk in sugar until smooth. Let cool slightly, then add eggs and vanilla, whisking until thick and glossy.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until smooth. Optionally fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely.
- Lift brownies out of the pan, cut into squares. Melt candy melts and drizzle over brownies to resemble ribbons. Add mini bows or sprinkles.
- Allow decorations to set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes before serving.
