Description
Quick Christmas Cranberry Beef Meatballs are your effortless holiday appetizer, blending festive cheer with incredible ease.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (14 oz) jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bag (about 32 oz) frozen pre-cooked beef meatballs
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the jellied cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally until the brown sugar is fully dissolved and the sauce begins to thicken slightly.
- Add the frozen pre-cooked beef meatballs to the simmering sauce, stirring gently to coat them thoroughly. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the meatballs simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until they are heated through and fully infused with the sauce.
- Transfer the meatballs and sauce to a serving dish. Serve warm with toothpicks for an appetizer, or over mashed potatoes or rice for a main course. Garnish with fresh parsley or orange zest if desired.
