Bang Bang Chicken Skewers: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for additional heat)
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
- Bamboo or metal skewers (if using bamboo, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Instructions
- If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- In a bowl, combine chicken cubes, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss to coat well. Allow marinating for at least 30 minutes for maximum flavor.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, and sriracha. Adjust the sriracha according to your preferred level of spice.
- Heat your grill to medium-high temperature, about 375°F (190°C).
- Thread marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Place the skewers on the grill, cooking for about 10 minutes. Turn them halfway to ensure even cooking. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Once fully cooked, remove the skewers from the grill. Drizzle them generously with the Bang Bang sauce.
- You may garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds for added flavor and presentation.
