- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease your loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray, or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the butter-sugar mixture and mix until fully combined.
- Gently fold the mashed bananas into the wet mixture.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- If using sprinkles, fold them into the batter now.
- Transfer the batter into your prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
