Description
Soft and chewy cranberry white chocolate blondie bars topped with a luscious cream cheese white chocolate frosting. The perfect Starbucks treat, right at your home!

- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted and slightly cooled)
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 1 & 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¾ cup dried cranberries (roughly chopped)
- ¾ cup white chocolate chips (or chopped white chocolate)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp orange zest
- ¼ tsp salt
- 3 oz white chocolate (melted and slightly cooled)
- ¼ cup dried cranberries (roughly chopped)
- 1 oz white chocolate (melted for drizzle)
- Extra orange zest (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth, about 1 minute.
- Add in the eggs, vanilla extract, and orange zest and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, and cinnamon.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
- Spread the thick batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 22-26 minutes, or until edges are set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack (at least 1 hour).
- Beat cream cheese and butter together until light and fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Mix in vanilla extract, orange zest, and melted white chocolate.
- Spread frosting evenly over the cooled bars.
- Sprinkle chopped dried cranberries over the frosting and drizzle with melted white chocolate.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set the frosting before cutting.
- Lift the bars out of the pan using parchment overhang and cut into 16 squares.
Notes
- Use room temperature eggs for better mixing.
- Don’t overmix the batter to maintain a soft texture.
- Check the center temperature to ensure proper doneness.
