Description

A creamy and cheesy baked dish made with layers of thinly sliced potatoes, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 cup mozzarella, shredded
  • ¾ cup cheddar, shredded
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Parsley or dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and slice potatoes thinly. Soak in cold water to prevent browning.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together cream, milk, melted butter, flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer potatoes in a baking dish, sprinkling mozzarella and cheddar between layers. Pour cream mixture over the top.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Garnish with parsley or dill before serving.
