A creamy and cheesy baked dish made with layers of thinly sliced potatoes, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 kg potatoes
- 1 cup mozzarella, shredded
- ¾ cup cheddar, shredded
- 1 cup cream
- 1.5 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Parsley or dill for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and slice potatoes thinly. Soak in cold water to prevent browning.
- In a bowl, whisk together cream, milk, melted butter, flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Layer potatoes in a baking dish, sprinkling mozzarella and cheddar between layers. Pour cream mixture over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with parsley or dill before serving.
