Description

Ravioli in Creamy Tuscan Sauce is a delicious and satisfying dish that combines tender ravioli with a rich and flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (about 12 ounces) ravioli (cheese-filled or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for some heat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ravioli according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Stir well to combine and allow the mixture to simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped spinach, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Cook until the spinach wilts down, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Taste the sauce and season with salt and pepper according to your preference.
  6. Gently toss the cooked ravioli into the sauce, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  7. Remove from heat, and if desired, top with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil or parsley for added flavor and presentation.
  8. Serve immediately and watch as everyone at the table falls in love with this creamy dish!
