Description

Tender, seasoned chicken enveloped in a rich, creamy cheese sauce, all tucked within a perfectly flaky, golden crescent roll crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (fresh or dried)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray, for greasing the baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or 9×13-inch dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Carefully unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles.
  4. Spoon about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle up towards the narrow point. Curve them into the classic crescent shape and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  7. Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving to allow the filling to set.
  8. Garnish with parsley before serving warm.
