Description

Spinach Artichoke Swirls are the ultimate party appetizer, combining flaky puff pastry with a creamy filling of fresh spinach and tangy artichokes.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach (packed)
  • 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté fresh spinach until wilted, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix wilted spinach, chopped artichokes, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  5. Spread the spinach-artichoke mixture evenly on the pastry, leaving edges clear.
  6. Roll tightly from one edge into a log shape and slice into 1-inch pieces.
  7. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
