- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, dissolve active dry yeast in warm water and let it sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl, then knead until smooth.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Grease a baking pan with olive oil and preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Punch down the risen dough on a floured surface and stretch it into the prepared pan, reaching the edges.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and arrange spicy pepperoni slices on top. Sprinkle Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
