Description

Blueberry Cream Cheese Danish is a delectable pastry that combines flaky puff pastry with a rich cream cheese filling and juicy blueberries.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick; cut into rectangles (4×6 inches).
  3. In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in blueberries without crushing them.
  5. Place two tablespoons of the mixture onto each pastry rectangle; fold corners to the center and pinch to seal.
  6. Brush with egg wash for a golden finish and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly on a rack before serving.
