Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 pita breads or flatbreads
  • ½ cup tahini sauce or garlic sauce

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef into thin strips against the grain. In a bowl, mix garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, lemon juice, and olive oil. Toss the beef strips in the marinade and let them sit for at least 1 hour (overnight for best results).
  2. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Ensure it’s lightly greased if using a grill pan indoors.
