  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup honey

  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil (canola or avocado)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp neutral oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and brown, breaking into small pieces, for 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add minced garlic to the skillet with the turkey and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, low-sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  4. Pour the prepared sauce mixture over the turkey in the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce slightly reduces and coats the turkey.
  5. Serve the honey garlic ground turkey immediately over rice or your preferred base. Garnish generously with sliced green onions.
