- 200 grams of marzipan
- few drops of food coloring
- 150 grams of dark chocolate
- 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil (optional)
- decorative sprinkles or edible glitter
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 200 grams of marzipan with a few drops of food coloring. Knead it gently until the color is evenly distributed.
- Once colored, roll the marzipan into small balls or shapes resembling kisses, aiming for about 2.5 cm in diameter for each piece.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 150 grams of dark chocolate in short bursts of 20 seconds, stirring in between until smooth. If too thick, add a teaspoon of vegetable oil to thin it out.
- Using a fork, dip each marzipan shape into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle your decorative toppings on top.
- Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or place them in the fridge for 15 minutes to speed up the process.
- Once set, your Fairy Kisses are ready to be enjoyed! Serve them immediately or store them for later.
