Description

A delicious and easy Chicken Alfredo Bake recipe, perfect for a comforting family dinner. This creamy chicken alfredo casserole features tender chicken, rich alfredo sauce, and pasta baked to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 cup broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese until melted and sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the alfredo sauce. If using broccoli, add it now and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat everything evenly with the sauce.
  7. Pour the mixture into a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and the top is lightly golden.
  9. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving your creamy chicken alfredo bake.

  • For a quicker meal, use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken.
