- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed cookies and cream cookies
- 1 cup chocolate kisses
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the crushed cookies and cream cookies until evenly distributed.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
- As soon as you take the cookies out of the oven, gently press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
