Ingredients

  • 1.0 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1.0 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.0 large egg
  • 1.0 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1.0 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.0 spray cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and the egg. Mix well until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Gradually add the dry mixture to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until a sticky dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, one tablespoon at a time.
  4. Lightly flour your hands and shape the dough into rings, about 2-3 inches in diameter and half an inch thick. Make sure to create a hole in the center for the ring effect.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the pumpkin rings in the basket, ensuring they do not touch each other. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  7. Air fry the pumpkin rings for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Flip them halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
  8. Once done, carefully remove the rings from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
