Description

Burrata Pasta Shells with Roasted Garlic & Lemon Cream: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 2 cups burrata cheese, torn into pieces
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) for roasting the garlic.
  2. Slice the top off the head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap it in aluminum foil. Roast for 25 minutes, until soft and caramelized.
  3. While the garlic roasts, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Squeeze the roasted garlic into the pan, discarding the skins. Stir until well mashed.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, lemon zest, and juice. Stir gently, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Stuff each pasta shell with burrata cheese, making sure to fill them generously.
  7. Add the stuffed shells to the sauce, spooning some over the top. Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  8. Carefully transfer the pasta shells to serving plates.
  9. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese over the top for added flavor and presentation.
  10. Serve immediately while warm, enjoying the incredible blend of flavors.
